Great Looking New Years Weather Report 12/28/2010

Looks like we are going to have some good weather for the up- coming New Year’s weekend.  The Speckled Trout and Redfish bite should be good when this warmer weather hits. Cape Lookout Rock Jetty, Shark Island, Shackford Banks Surf Zone, School House Creek, Broad Creek, and Gales Creek are all good areas to be fishing. The Cape Lookout Rock Jetty going to be the most productive area, the ocean water is warmer than the inside waters just making the fish more active to feed.  Mirrolure’s & Gulp Baits will be a good choice for artificial. Live Mud Minnows seem to work the best when the water get as cold as it is now. Just fish them on a light Carolina rig on the bottom. We are getting a NEW stock of Mud Minnows in today.
