Inshore:

 
The Spanish fishing is just about as good as you're going to get it right now. As the weather is getting cooler this is the time to take advantage of a great bite. As they will be moving out of the area toward late October.
 
The big numbers of spanish seem to be up around the Cape Lookout area. Last weekend the shoals were just full of fish and some were up to 7lbs. You can still find schools around the inlet and down the beach toward the piers too.
 
On the East side around 285 reefs the big spanish are there in big numbers. Most of the bigger fish are being caught on Live Finger Mullet
